TGIF!!!

First off, I would like to say that YES I have been working/creating. Everything is half way there so I can not post any pictures, just thought I'd let you see my wonderful mess I have going on. I am hoping to get alot done this weekend, let's keep are fingers crossed that nothing too eventful comes up. I have another cute story..... So every night I try to read a couple books to Dylan. The one he is holding is one of our favorites. Well, a couple nights ago I was busy cleaning and he brought the book to me to read and I told him I would read it to him in a little bit. He didn't like this answer, so he decided he would read it to me. I had no idea that he had the book memorized. He decided to replace all the "I's" with "Mom". For example it reads " I love your inside and your outside. I love your fingers. I love your toes." He read it to me like this, " I love mom's inside and mom's outside. I love mom's fingers and mom's toes." Way too cute. I almost cried but instead I was smiling from ear to ear and decided that cleaning could wait.

He is so good at letting me take pictures of him. He fact he will say, " D take another one." Not like his sister.....
Me: Ryan please go smell the flowers, it would make such a good picture

Ryan: I am so sick of taking all these weird pictures mom

Me: Please

Ryan: No, where's my brother?

So..... I have been slacking on this post and I apologize because it is such an awesome award. I recieved an award from Jack and Cat Curio (aka Mike P./blog master) and have yet to pass it on. First I would like to say it is such an honor to receive this award and second there are a million blogs I could pass this award on to. Working Girls... (Warning: very long post)

Warning: This is a very long post but it has been a very busy two days. Hope you enjoy the story.......
So grandma is out of town with the other grandchildren so Ryan decided to come to work with mama. (aka- me). She started the day off by opening the windows to let the sunshine in....

Here is a quick photo op with mom.....

We set up her work station with all of her lovely toys....

and finally she crashed after a long day. Can you also tell that Ryan's favorite color is Aqua just like myself...???
Day Two- She sees a pictures of her brother and wanders where he is at. (By the way he is with Uncle Nick doing guy things)

And then I decided we needed a little shopping break. So off to Mystic Paper we go. I signed my mom up for Mike P's blogging class so look for that in future weeks. Also got some yummy embellishments to go with my Design Team project. As mentioned earlier I will be working with the Graphic 45 papers and couldn't be more excited to create something.....

After a long hard two days at the office these girls needed some good food. So we picked up Dad and D and off to Mi Amigos for some fabulous Mexican food. Ryan did get a hold of a lime I couldn't help not to take a picture.

And now it is time for a 3 day weekend!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!! I have so much planned, hopefully I will get some creating time accomplished.

So Halloween is coming up!!!! Well we still have two more months but it doesn't hurt to get excited right? I came across this picture at my mom's house and thought it was funny. I believe that was my 2nd Halloween so I was about 18 months. I don't look too thrilled, maybe it is because I have a gun pointed at my head?!

Speaking of my mom, she has started her very own blog!!!! It is called T's Fairies Dream Wishes and she will keep us posted on all of her grandma adventures. It is in the preliminary stages right now, we might have to set up an appointment with Mike P the grand blog master. But look forward to seeing all on her wonderful adventures coming very soon.

I have a cute story.....

So Jeff, (my supporting hubby), always likes to know what project I am working on. After I was done with Mystic Design team project I decided to start working on my Bingo Cards for the Swap. Well.... I kind of forgot to let him know what was going on, you know I just figured he really wouldn't notice or care.
So, he sees me gather materials/brainstorming on the cards and asks what I had planned next. I explained the Bingo Card Swap and let him know what I was visioning. He didn't really seem to excited.
Later I asked him if he thought my idea for the cards didn't sound right. He replied with..." No, it sounds good. You just haven't made anything for me in a while, I thought you would make something for me next...:( ".
I usually like to make little trinkets and surprise him here and there, but I didn't ever really know if he cared or if he was just being nice and letting me do my girly thing. Well now I know that he likes what I make for him and he misses it when I don't, So the picture above is my present to him. It is acutally a pocket where it says "Notes" so I can put little love notes in there. I decided I will put it in his truck so it has to be kind of manly that's why I covered the other side in metal tape. It was quick and easy but something to let him know I still love creating for him.

Okay.....moving on,

Yesterday I was reading Judy B's blog My Artistic Side and she mentioned how she has been working on her Bingo Cards and they are finished. So this gave me the kick in the butt, I haven't even started. So, I am proud to say I have started and they are coming together nicely. Thank you Judy for getting me going!

Lastly, this little girlie is walking almost running everywhere. So walks circles around the house looking for TROUBLE. She wants to get into everything, play with everything, eat everything and have anything that she is not suppose to. She sure is busy but so cute. I am loving watching every moment with her.

First Design Team Meeting!

Introducting, the new Mystic Paper Design Team! From left, Yasu, Myself, Sheri (AKA team captain) and Patty. We had our first meeting yesterday and our first kit/challange. I am SOOOO excited, I can't wait to start creating with it. I have to tell you I got some beautiful Graphic 45 paper and I am so excited to create this project. I will post pictures later just wanted to introduce everyone to my new team members. I look forward to the year to come and feel very lucky to be able to share this experience with such talented ladies. We can all inspire and grow from each other.

TOO CUTE!

So last night we did a little shopping for Ryan's birthday coming up and look what I bought! It is a fabric tea set covered in the coolest patterns. Dylan helped pick it out. He already plays pretend tea party with Ryan so he can teach her how to use it. Just thought I'd share real quick. Of course they had so many other cool toys, But they are pricey, doesn't hurt to look though right?! Now if only I could learn to make something like this.....?
